In 1995 Dylan established Dylan Turner Carriers Limited when he was which started with 1 truck (Which Dylan Drove) the business grew over the next 10 years to a fleet of 60 units with depots in AKL, CHCH, and WGT specializing in Fragile Freight and establishing long term relationships with “Blue Chip” manufacturers. Whilst building this very successful logistics business Dylan then purchased vacant land and building in AKL and CHCH and developed the sites to house the business, in doing so the transport and logistics business became the tenant with leasebacks to the Turner Family Trusts, Dylan and his Wife Sharon had their first child Zoe and then had an offer to sell DTC in which they could not refuse then sold the business and retained the land and buildings.
Dylan then wanted to understand Commercial Real Estate and thought the best way to do this was become an agent and then began working with Prestige Real Estate in 2006, focusing mainly on growth on the North Shore and wider Auckland. Dylan specialized in Brown and Green Field Developments (RMA), Dylan earned Rookie of the Year in 2006/7. He accomplished some exceptional land sales in the Silverdale South Entertainment & Recreation Zone, Dylan was key in selling the majority of large parcels in “Silverdale North (Millwater) Future Urban Land”, Silverdale Industrial Estate, Silverdale Knowledge Economy (Highgate) and Central Takapuna. Dylan worked on the Sentinel apartment complex in Takapuna and the Nautilus apartment complex in Orewa along with many other commercial and industrial sales and leases, residential and future urban across Auckland.
Dylan’s unprecedented relationship and network built over a long period of time with the former and current Mayors of the Rodney, North Shore, Waitakere City Councils, as well as Auckland Regional Council (ARC). Dylan’s network also includes several major civil engineering companies, urban design and architecture professionals, valuers, banks, development finance brokers to help assist in completing developments.
In 2009 Dylan was head hunted and started as General Manager at Linfox Logistics at the Auckland Airport to run the NZ transport and logistics fleet managing over 200 Truck and Trailers and drivers along with managing key Logistics sites across NZ, with taking the business units from a loss making business over the next 6 months and turning each of the business units into a very profitable transport and logistics operations, Dylan established and managed key accounts of the like Foodstuffs, Progressive Enterprises, Asaleo Care, Nestle, Unilever, Charter Packaging, Mobil, Bluebird and many more key FMCG suppliers, In 2014 Foodstuffs North Island disestablished its fleet and tendered the North Island transport. Dylan ran and managed the RFP process and was awarded this business which involved the establishment of Linfox NZ first rail head moving over 18 Kiwi Rail Cars at its Penrose rail head and moving all Foodstuffs North Islands FMCG volume by rail into Palmerston North Over night 6 night per week along with establishing Direct to store deliveries overnight, to this day Dylan prides himself on establishing great teams, passionate drivers and a perfect H&S record.
In 2017 Dylan had decided at the age of 45 it was time to live and work closer to home in Red Beach and was tired of the daily excessive travel, Dylan then sat his Real Estate License and joined Bayley’s Orewa in May 2017, Dylan specialized in Commercial, industrial leasing and sales along with working intimately with large land developers such as Fletcher Living, Changda International Limited and Av Jennings to name a few, in 2018 Dylan was awarded Rookie of the year and No 1 Commercial agent for Bayley’s NZ, In 2019, Dylan continued his drive and excelled in C&I and projects awarding him his $50,000,000 status, In 2020 Dylan has frequently his top sales person of the month and earned himself No 1 agent for Bayley’s in the North along with “Top achiever” for 2020, Dylan works tirelessly to ensure what he says he delivers and works intimately with all clients to ensure their goals are achieved. Dylan has now moved over to Ray White continuing to grow his strengths in the Commercial and Projects market.
When Dylan is not working, he is patrolling beaches as a qualified Surf lifeguard, FA2, IRB Driver and is on the Police / Lifeguard callout squad, this passion is shared throughout Dylan’s 3 kids and wife, “We Live to Save Lives”
